JESSICA OBIMBO

Jessica Obimbo is a highly motivated and detail-oriented Advocate of the High Court of Kenya based in Nairobi. With proven expertise in communication, legal research, and writing skills, Jessica brings a wealth of experience gained through professional endeavors.

Recently, Jessica has joined Igeria & Ngugi Advocates as an Associate in the Conveyancing team, where she brings her legal acumen to various aspects of property law and transactions. In this role, she has gained exposure to the intricacies of conveyancing and corporate law, further enhancing her legal skill set.

Educationally, Jessica holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, where she was admitted to the Bar in June 2023. She also earned an LLB in Law from the University of Nottingham and completed her General Certificate of Education Advanced Level and International General Certificate of Secondary Education at Nairobi Academy.

In addition to her professional and academic achievements, Jessica has demonstrated leadership and commitment through various volunteer and leadership roles. As a Research Assistant at the Rights Lab, University of Nottingham, she conducted in-depth analyses of modern slavery in business supply chains. Jessica has a strong background in human rights, having interned at organizations such as Amnesty International and the Kenya Legal & Ethical Issues Network (KELIN).

Currently volunteering at Beacon of Hope, she contributes to a USAID program aimed at preventing the spread of HIV in vulnerable communities, showcasing her commitment to social responsibility.
